Worms

Hey guys.

So this morning I noticed what seems to be am explosion of little white worms in my L.elaphus cups, the only thing that's different with what I'm doing since the flake soil is home made is that I added some turtle food to the larvae cups as I read in the care guide from Bugsincyberspace that turtle food can be fed to the larvae of L.elaphus.

They are very slow moving white worms that rrsemble tiny earthworms, and I don't know if they are beneficial or harmful or just little visitors, but I know they came in off the food pellets.

They are definitely nematodes, although they wouldn’t have come off the turtle food it is probably causing the explosion, as extra decaying organic matter is added to the substrate. They usually shouldn’t harm your larvae directly, although they will eat it’s food and probably annoy it
