When is the best time to ship larvae after hatching?

So I've been breeding beetles and selling larvae for a while now. Usually I wait until the larvae are L2 to ship them out. However, I want to produce them at a faster rate and ship them out as soon as I could. I was told to wait 2 months after hatching to ship them safely. How long after hatching do you ship your larvae?

 
I usually ship them at L2 or L3 because I think L1 looks fragile...

I did ship some late L1s (20 days old or so) and eggs before and they arrived safely.
