Wanted Citheronia regalis eggs

I currently have an adult female laying but I would like more eggs for a breeding project. Anyone know someone who sells them. I would be fine with larvae too.

Wishing you the best of success with those!  I reared a bunch of C. regalis many years ago.  The caterpillars grew fantastically well, but I ran into major problems in the pupal stage - must not have gotten some aspect of the set-up right.  Undoubtedly, there are people on this forum who have much more experience rearing this species than I do.  Eacles imperialis, which is also a member of the subfamily Ceratocampinae, is equally impressive.

Yeah, I was also wondering if anyone knew how to prevent paracidic wasps?

If you're rearing the caterpillars indoors, wasps and other parasites won't be a problem.

Good to know.  I found an egg and I squished it. Maybe it was from previous caterpillars I kept outdoors?

Insects that parasitize caterpillars lay their eggs directly on them, or inject them.

She ended up looking good in my dead insect collection. But sadly she was not mated before I caught her. The eggs were infertile.
