This is going to sound outrageous.
With only one exception (a female which died last week of old age), all of the superworm beetles that hatched last summer/fall and didn't die of unnatural causes are still alive today!
Any idea why they are living more than twice as long as their normal lifespan of four months? I keep them in oats and feed with various fruit twice a week when available.
