Hey guys! I have some Mtu larvae in the mail. I was planning to order flake soil form usbeetles.com. I was wondering how the quality of it is. I also need some jellies for my p. muelleri. I saw they had some jellies. They come with a holder and they are pretty cheap but I was worried they wouldn't have much nutrition. Thanks for the help!

Oh, and can I supplement the soil with fish food?

flower beetles like a more well rotten substrate, but they are overall very tolerant and forgiving. That genus can basically be kept like Goliathus on protein, so supplements will be welcomed by the larvae. Best of luck keeping!

Honestly, Insectbrothers.org is way better than US beetles if your looking for flake soil and jellies.
