Triceratops beetle foods

Howdy y'all!

Anyone have an idea of what foods these guys prefer?

Mine have eclosed but don't seem interested in crickets.

From what I've heard they like soft, slow moving prey like earthworms and mealworm/superworm pupa.

Egg yolk.

Oh, and some people, (Lucanus in particular), have had luck feeding them moistened dog food.

I heard banana works occasionally

Beetle jelly with protein. They can't chase down things like crickets.

Egg yolk is easy, but goes moldy if I don't get it out.

Don't really find earthworms here, but caterpillars seem to work fine.

Still haven't noticed any mating behavior, but I'm going to transfer them to a bigger habitat anyway.

Try ANY bait shop (unless you are in the city). Even walmart has them here, in the sporting-goods
