Stenomorpha sp.

So, if you've seen the Beetle Photos thread, you would see that a friend of mine in AZ found some Stenomorpha sp. He is interested in breeding them, and the only paper we can manage to find is one from the 60s or 70s about a species that, to my knowledge, isn't recognized anymore. The paper discusses collection and rearing of a species from Washington state, and says the larvae need to experience a dipause to induce pupation. Has anyone else here tried breeding these guys that can offer some up to date information? Thanks in advance.

I guess not. I'll recommend an Eleodes setup and see what happens.

Kinda surprised no one has tried rearing these. They're supposed to be common in AZ I'm told.
