Shipping aquatic beetle larvae???

How can I ship aquatic beetle larvae??? what type of a container? How much water?? Any sort of info will be helpful

i dont recommend water... they splash around and kill the larvae... also in this time of the year it will freeze... maybe with moist papertowl in a delicup...

yeah, maybe soaked sphagnum moss/paper towel,so the larvae can hang out in there in the little water there is,but with being moved around alot,they can anchor themselves to the moss/paper towel in the water,hmm can be alittle risky.

Great idea, what would be the max amount of time that could spend in shipping, would 2-3 days be to long??? Oh and if you guys want some Dytiscus larvae let me know

3 days may be pushing it,being they have to be in the water and such,don't how they would do,being in the mail that long.
The larvae of Dytiscus are air breathing. I would try putting them in a tub with some damp, but not dripping, paper towels. This should keep them humid enough not to dry out in the post.
