Reproduction

In the world today, there are many dogs that are mixed breed mutts that can keep their generations going by mating and having puppies. What about mixed breed insects? I have heard that Dynastes Grantii and Dynastes Tityus could copulate, and produce eggs. Lets say that we have 2 pairs (2 males and 2 females) from different bloodlines, to prevent inbreeding. If you were to take them and attempt to breed them, would they be able to reproduce and lay/hatch healthy eggs/larvae?

This is kind of off topic because this is BeetleForum.net, but it related to the topic at hand. I know a man who breeds jumping spiders and has hybrids that are in the same family (not brother and sister but the scientific term). If these were to mate, would they have a chance of reproduction?

Domesticated dogs are all of the same species canis lupus familiaris. So mixing "breeds" is acualy just like color morphs. You are refering to hybridizing two different sp of the same genus.
