Plantain for Dynastes hercules hercules

Does anyone know if Dhh will eat plantains? I would assume if they are very ripe, it would be similar to a banana? Anyone know? Thanks much!

Plantains = "cooking banana". Should be ok to use.

Plantains are not cooked banana, they are in the musa genus related to banana.

Plantains are cooked because of all the starch makes them hard.

I've been eating plaintain since I was born.

Plantain is only to be consumed by humans after cooking.

Some people in different places called cooked banana plantain, but it just a cooked banana. The discoverer called it what Matt said "cooking banana"

I don't know if Dhh eats plaintain, some insects must though.

Yeah, i love them fried, but once they are black, i would think that they would work as hercules food. I will give it a shot...i'm sure it will be fine. They probably grow in their natural habitat anyway Will keep you posted! Thanks!
