Pasimachus and fruit

Maybe this is common knowledge to some of you, but my Pasimachus californicus REALLY like fruit. They have constant access to water. I had never thought to offer it to them before.

It's funny, some Carabids, like Calosoma for example, really do like fruit. Of course insects are still needed in their diet, but fruit can be offered as an occasional treat. Very nice documentation of this behavior, never heard of Pasimachus eating fruit.
