I just googled about this particular species of nematode and I find it very interesting! Is this the only species of nematode that use bacterias to kill the host and feed on it or are there more species of nematodes like that?nematodes can kill larvae very easily. but most often then not the larvae doesn't die right away, and slowly dies over time.

Seems that not all of them do this (if they all did this, all of my beetle larvae should be dead by now. lol). The nematodes I see in my substrates are about 3~5mm long when fully grown. They will crowd onto the walls and will feed on dog foods if given.I thought all species do this, but I could be wrong. Oh how can you spot nematodes with the nacked eye??? I thought they where really small, are there any obvious sighns of nematode infestation???
