Need an Arizona Eleodes ID

These two Eleodes came from Arizona. I was told they were the same specie, but to me it seems they are not! Could some one clear the enigma and ID them?

The one on the right may be E. longicollis and on the left may be E. obscurus or E. hispilabris but those are both sort of shots in the dark. You can find images of those and more species on bugguide.

Thought the larger one on the left side, that is from the viewers perspective, was E longicollis.
