Mites On Wild Caught Beetles

Recently I noticed tiny white mites on my wild caught beetles. I know you can use a paintbrush and different things to get them off. However, I am nervous that they will migrate and infest my captive bred adults. If this is the case I must release them into the wild. Please help!

Isolate your mite infested beetles from the not infested beetles, brush/wipe off all the mites, then keep them quarantined for a few more days. If you notice more mites on them, repeat until they are gone.

Ugh, I cannot jeopardize my healthy existing beetles. I had to relocate them to the outdoors into an old and enclosed dog house. I finally got rid of almost all the mites I could see in my containers and I really cannot risk it again.

If possible, you could try housing the clean ones accross the room from the wild caught. Just don't mix substrate or food and clean off any tools (spoons and whatnot).
