Hey all I'm wondering what subsrate is best for Lucanus larvae. I know turkey tail kinshi is probably best, I know that some people add leaf compost is small amounts (10 - 20%) but I'm wondering if white rot is better than fermented? Also is it recommened that all Lucanus have a bottom layer of clay for creation of pupae cells? Any help would be awesome.
