There is a place that only L. elaphus are found. Also, L. elaphus larvae look somehow different than the L. capreolus larvae.How can you tell by the larvae that these are Lucanus elaphus?![]()
I wish I can but I don't have any L. capreolus right now.Can you take a picture of the L3 larval stage of Elaphus and Capreolus compared? I believe I have both.
