Larva not pupating

I've had this L3 western hercules beetle larva for months now, since last spring, almost 7 months now, and it hasn't pupated yet. Is this normal?? When I checked on it like 3 months ago it was huge and fat (still is) and was so sure it was planning on pupating very soon but it still isn't, still just wants to chill as a larva. Is it to do with the temperature?? I keep my home relatively cold, like 65-70 degrees, because that's just the temperature i prefer. Is that the problem? Should I get a light heat lamp or something?

Is the larva yellow? Or still white?

Any pictures you can post? This species takes a LONG time to become an adult.
