beetlegeuse
L1
So my L. elaphus finally emerged and became active around mid-March and it's been awhile since. I ended up with 1 male and 4 females, so I can only hope my male was fertile. He recently passed and I got antsy and started digging through the box for at least some sign of eggs. I thought I found some, but after reading through some of my books and looking at pictures, I'm beginning to doubt whether these are actually beetle eggs? I'm thinking there's a chance they might be worm eggs so I figured I'd post here and ask if anyone with experience breeding L. elaphus could confirm one way or the other.

Update: I'm now reasonably sure they're worm eggs. I went and sifted through the box some more and found a lot of worms but no beetle larvae. I also found two other eggs that look sort of different from this one and may or may not be beetle eggs. I'm hoping but unfortunately, my hopes aren't too high considering the lack of larvae even though it's been well over a month since they've been in this container... Who knows though, maybe I'll luck out.
