Kinshi and oxygen

I added stag larvae to my kinshi bottles and they both burrowed down very deep. One of them is at the very bottom of the bottle and the mycelium regrew/covered its tunnel completely. Do I need to be concern with oxygen supply? I'm worried all the mycelium has sealed up the air supply and will suffocate the larvae.

Hard to say. If you're worried you can always use a popsicle stick or a pen and gently pop a new hole in it. As im sure the larvae is more important to you than the kinshi

I'm trying to create tunnels for air but the mycelium keeps growing back so I have to stay on top of it. I might just use a straw so it doesn't fill in
