Hello. You can inoculate logs with dowel spawn of mushrooms like Pleurotus. Shade of Eclipse here on Beetleforum.net has told me that the Pleurotus grow better than the Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), being more resistant to contaminants and grow faster than Shiitake.
Do many of you people grow your kinshi from plug spawn?
Is it better to grow the mushrooms on sawdust because the mycelium of the mushrooms grow faster on it than logs?
