Identification?

Along with a bess beetle my girlfriend also found this grub. She said it was dead when she found it and the picture isn't very good but can anyone tell what kind of larvae it is from the picture provided? I honestly have no clue and thought maybe it was a bess larvae but when I tried to view bess larvae images of long thin grubs where the main thing I found.
