ID of Scarab beetle

Can anyone ID this scarab beetle?

I found it crawling around inmy garden.I live in Johannesburg South Africa.

Looks like a male Dicronorrhina derbyana layardi to me. A stunning creature and beautiful photographs!

Thanks for the ID however looking and wiki - if that is even accurate - based on my location it would be a D. d. derbyana.

Cool ittle creature - not sure about the bird "bite" but the crack on the shell did not look fresh.

Let the little creature go in the garden it hung around little until dusk and buzzed off.
