How much should they eat?

So I recently got a Gymnetis caseyi beetle. I was feeding her the jellies and then I gave her some fresh banana. Today she pooped on the side of the jelly container and some went into the jelly, she didn't touch it after that. So I gave her some more fresh banana today and she was feeding for 23 minutes. Is that too much? Should I take it away? Thanks.

In my experience, I don't think overfeeding is an issue. I've had Dynastes tityus feed almost every day, all day. Then, I didn't offer them food for an other day. I kept them alive for a year and 2.5 months!

I let mine eat as much as they like and I've never had problems -- even if they get poop in it, LOL. They'll just eat until they're satisfied, which can be a lot! I have elephant beetles that have been going through a whole jelly in a night.
