How do I breed superworms (Zophobias morio)?

I want to know how the best way to breed superworms, Zophobias morio.

I want to start with 2 thousand. I have been keeping 200 in oat like mealworms I throw in a small piece of carrot or lettuce like they say and show on the net, the oats turned completely green with mold twice , I figure too much humidity for the oak.

What is the best to breed starting with 2 thousand? I need to have many thousands for my beetles by next year.

They cost too much for the amount I'm using.

I was thinking of doing that, but I read that the frass and dust from worm exoskeletons gives intense allergy symptoms, and since I already have allergies, I decided against it. I think an oat and wheat bran substrate is your best bet, moisture source from fruits or veggies only. I would replace the food everyday. I think they reproduce best at 70-80 degrees; it seems most people have more luck in the warmer months. Here are some good links:

I wonder if you can lay a small, flat piece of plastic down with the food, lightly covered with substrate? Still far down enough to reach, but not accumulating as much moisture.

Great info, the second link shows me that they need major ventilation though compared to what I was thinking. I am going to separate a bunch tonight to induce pupation as well.

Thanks for the info! Now I see where I was going wrong.
