I get them often in the summer if you're interestedLovely beetles. Ever since finding a grapevine as a kid I've always been interested in them.
What do you feed the larva? Standard wood and leaf substrate?I get them often in the summer if you're interested
I used flake soil. I had spare so why not. You can try different things, but they eat wood in the wild (found some in logs too)What do you feed the larva? Standard wood and leaf substrate?
I wonder how they would do with the koi pellets technique mentioned on the other threads...
Are you able to get them to breed fine with just flake soil?I used flake soil. I had spare so why not. You can try different things, but they eat wood in the wild (found some in logs too)
Didn't breed them lol. I collected adults as well as larvae. Far as I know they breed in flake soil.Absolutely gorgeous beetles! I found my first of both species this year and was lucky enough to get a specimen.

What are you talking about? If you mean the link imgur is safe.Did you guys get a virus?
How did you know? You likely either had it before hand, or clicked some ads on the link. Also, you don't need to pay five dollars for an antivirus to remove something. If you suspect you have a virus you can download rescue CDs or scanners from different reputable companies.Yes, I got a virus from it. Had to download AntiVirus and it costed me 5 bucks.
