Ecpantheria
Egg
Hi! Not much to say, general information located on my profile. Relatively new to keeping beetles, came here looking for advice on breeding Lucanus capreolus. Most of my questions have already been answered via digging through old topics, though I do have one remaining if anyone is able to let me know; how would I go about transferring eggs out of the designated breeding container? Might be a silly thing to ask, but I figured it's better to be safe than sorry.
My set-up for breeding is a container favoring vertical length over width, a thin layer of coco coir at the bottom, and the majority composed of flake soil with chunks of rotting wood buried inside. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I'd like to relocate the eggs if possible, and I'm concerned about potentially damaging them if it is not done properly (assuming that there is a "proper" way to do it). Thanks in advance!
