Hi! I am a big fan of D granti and A dychotoma. My family will be going up to Payson to look for the elusive D granti. Anyone has a suggestion on a special area, please let me know. I know Home Depot is where they like to hang out. I was lucky to have found many Xylotrupes Ulysses in Prescott and a handful of D granti three years ago. I haven't been do lucky in the past few years. I'll keep trying!

Oh, Madera Canyon is on my list to visit next month!

Probably meant to say "Xyloryctes thestalus." Those have been found in and around Prescott Arizona.

Thank you for the welcome! Oops! Thank you for the correction, they were X. thestalus not X. ulysses. Got about 20 or so of them. I found 3 male and 1 female D. granti. The coolest one is the Chrysina gloriosa. It was a productive weekend
