Heat Pack Effectiveness?

Hello everyone, 

I was wondering how effective the heat packs that are used in beetle shipping are. I was hoping to purchase some Gymnetis thula from BIC with 3 day shipping, but the nighttime temps in my area will be around 25-30 degrees. Will my larvae be OK? They will ship with a heat pack.

I have received inverts that are more sensitive with lower temps (around -20c) and have been fine with a 3 day heat pack. These were shipped with overnight. In this scenario, I’d get overnight. However, the heat packs are quite good, and for grubs, especially US natives, that heat pack should be enough at those temps.
