Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 

I'm extremely thankful for all the amazing bugs I got to see this year. Among my favorite finds was Mydas tibialis, the Golden Legged Mydas Fly.

What was your favorite find of 2021?

A female Speyeria cybele, along with some suitors. We looked up capture records, found the spot, and zap! 

For beetles, an as yet unidentified Carabidae I spotted from the drivers seat, opened the door and scooped him up, it lived in

captivity for several months before making it's way into a case.
