Haven't had much great chances to breed these guys as they just don't seem to feed or lay much of eggs.

I guess there is something wrong with the set ups, but then one female lays some, while the other females just wouldn't..

Anyone have a clue for a special setups?

Last generation I separated two groups of females in different setups. One I buried a vertical birch log in a sand substrate, with maybe a liter of sawdust mixed in. In another I used only flake soil. I got over 20 larvae in the substrate with sand, all of the larvae were inside the vertical birch log. I haven't throughly searched the breeding bin yet so there might be more larvae. The substrate with flake soil only had 6 larvae, larvae are on the bottom as usual. I suspect to have consistence success sand and logs must be used for this species. Hope it helps.
