Eleodes colony

Figured some people might find my Eleodes colony interesting... These are Eleodes acuticauda laticollis, or just E. laticollis...hard to believe they are a subsp of the others.

The larvae is about the size of a medium mealworm.

Goog looking E laticollis. Any for sale?

Yes, nice beetles. I see another larva poking its head out of the wood. Bullet shaped and the legs seem a bit thicker in proportion to the body.

Hello What,

I might need to show you my ongoing project with E. osculans, might want to trade as well.

See ya!

I have been having E. osculans emerge in with my Hemiblabera colony ever since I dumped some substrate in there after a pair I had died. lol. 6 So far and I have picked up another few around here, coming out with the moisture.

They seem to live long and fruitful lives.

I truly do not know what is keeping them going as a trio was placed into a colony of L. subsincta and a bit over a year later there are at least five in there.
