Dynastes hyllus hyllus - sexual maturity

Hi everyone!

I have a male Dynastes hyllus hyllus who just became active yesterday (emerged from pupa on March 1), and a female who has been active and eating for about 3 weeks. Are they sexually mature? When should I have the breeding box ready?

Thank you so much for your help!

If the male just became active, I would wait about a month or so before pairing them.

Thank you Oak. At the moment the girl is walking around her housing like crazy. There is plenty of fresh food that she loves but she is not eating it. Any idea what’s going on? The boy is very calm and not eating much for some reason, or at least I haven’t seen it..!
