So this may be an odd question, but when breeding beetles like say...D.grantii. if you have a small male, and a large female, will they still mate despite the size difference?
If males are too small compared to females kept together, males may find difficulty to grab onto females especially when females are refusing to mate. This happens sometimes, but you can put males upside down, and place females upside down over it. Since females have no grips on anything, males are capable to mate more in ease...
