Is it possible to crossbreed 2 different eleodes species, and get hybrid larva? One of my pupa just turned into a beetle that appears to be a mix of E.armatus and E.hispilabris. it is the size and shape of E.armatus but has lines on the wings like E.hispilabris. the female who produced this was an E.armatus, and was in a cage with a male E.hispilabris for a few weeks. Is this possible, or is it just an unusual specimen. Thanks in advance!
