I would like to point out that these are not Eleodes sp. but are actually Calosoma sp.

Their care differs a lot so it's important to know the difference.

Yep, I told him that in my PM. Do you have any opinions on how to get them to breed? My attempt to breed Carabus nemoralis failed, the female never laid any eggs.
