D. Tityus L3 Substrate Specs

Hey all! After some success with my G. caseyi, I'm going to be raising some D. Tityus. Since these larvae will be eating hardwood rather than mostly leaflitter, I was wondering what you all thought would be the correct specifications to keep the substrate at - depth, moisture, etc.

Let me know your thoughts; I'm really looking forward to getting these huge animals!

Thanks.

I keep the male in half gallon containers. Substrate moist at all times, but you should not be able to squeeze any water out of the substrate.

I've seen a lot of topics on tityus on this forum. maybe digging around could be helpful.
