D. granti larvae growth rate?

Hey guys I'm just curious how fast these guys are supposed to grow? I bought 5 tiny L1 larvae almost exactly two months ago and the are already enormous L3 now!! Is this a normal speed of growth?

 
The 1st of September these guys were as big as my thumb nail and two weeks ago they were half this size lol i just thought they grew a lot slower then this...
