Hey ya'll, was wanting to get an opinion on some rotten hardwood I found during a nature walk.
Found a very old oak tree, the bark had all fallen off and the inside was literally falling out of the trunk. The wood is very brown, dry, and crumbles in my hand.
I gathered a five gallon bucket full, but would like to know if this stuff is too rotten to be used as food for rhinoceros beetle larvae.
Thanks for the feedback.
