Cohabbing D. Tityus in 18x18x18 Terrarium?

Previously I've housed my adults in large "critter keeper" style boxes, but I want to upgrade my newer ones into a display enclosure once they pupate. I sculpt and have the tools to create a nice custom background for them - rocks and maybe a textured tree for the corner. How many females would I be able to cohabitate in an enclosure of this size and verticality? And how deep does the substrate need to be for the determined amount of beetles?

I am probably not going to put a male in the display, because the enclosures I am looking at do not have a deep enough substrate allowance for eggs. Attached is an example of what I'm looking at. 18x18x18, 24gal, $107.

For Tityus sized beetles, that tank would probably house 8 at least. You can’t really over do it if it’s just females either.

for substrate, put at least 2-3 inches so they have enough room to burrow/tunnel and feel safe.

You mentioned sculpting, keep in mind that many beetles such as Tityus can be very active and have sharp claws that can easily tear/damage certain decor. Make sure whatever you put in there is sturdy, and not too rough to damage tarsal claws either!
