Cetonischema speciosa jousselini

I got a couple of these beetles and I would like to hear some comments about housing and breeding etc. There is SO little information of this beetle online. Im housing them in 30x30x30 Exoterra, bottom beetlefix 1&2 and soil. Food beetle jelly and fruits. Does anybody has this beetle?

Pretty much carefree species, just feed them and they will lay you some eggs into substrate. Make sure that your substrate have some rotten wood or decayed leaves in it.

Curious - any success with this species, Merru?
I have kept them in the past and would love to do this again when they are more readily available.

Hello,

According to discussions in an german beetle forum (kaeferforum.com), this species definitely needs a diapause.

greets,

Jakob

Actually, this species does not need any diapause. I have had them in breeding for 5 years, and they were active all year long.
