Can I use this in my substrate?

Picked this up recently and was wondering if I could use it in my substrate. If I can how do I use it?

You’ll need to decay them with fungus, or let them sit for a while, once they rot you can use them

Could I ferment them?

You could, though it’ll be a lot easier and more thorough if you grind it up as fine as you can first.
