Breeding Passalidae "bess beetles"

Right now I have 7 adults in a ten gallon tub, no clue on the male to female ratio. With organic potting soil and wood mixed up for the substrate. There is a large pile of wood in one corner of the tank, the wood is soft enough to break with your hands. Being kept a little above room temperature 24/7, due to the fact that there located in my reptile room. Any tips on how I can get these guys to breed??? Any info is greatly appreciated

They need to experience a cool down, need a rotting log, and must not be disturbed. These beetles are VERY tough to breed.

Any log will do pretty much. This species is not picky. Just include the cooldown for sure.

Pretty sure even the slightest disturbance will throw off breeding won't it?
