I’ve read a good amount on setting up boxes for beetle breeding, how to choose proper substrate, and other factors like that. However, not very many guides go into detail about the actual pairing of the beetles.
Once the male is introduced, how long should it be left in with the female for?
how long does the actual linking usually last?
Should the actual pairing be attempted multiple times?
and do all of these factors vary across species?
Looking for some experienced insight on this.
