7 days, eggs already

Already had my rhinoceros beetle and flower beetle pair for a week when I checked the breeding box. The substrate in the breeding box had slight condensation so I wanted to dry it out a little bit. When I was going through it, I found a lot of eggs already. I was very surprised! First picture is from the rhinoceros beetle female. The second picture is from the flower beetle female.

Checked again and boy was I surprised. Didn't get the actual egg pictures because I covered them with substrate in a rush. First picture is from the flower beetle female, second is from the rhinoceros beetle female.

Nice man, looks like they love that substrate you gave them!

I know right! Pretty hyped with the results. Just as an experiment, I'm going to put the rhinoceros beetle female in only 4.5 inches of substrate with no leaves. Also, she will be in a smaller container. Let's see what happens.
