Well when I got my tityus larvae I found s couple mjtes on them and O didn’t think much of it until I noticed that they all have blackspots on them, and quite a lot...they are late l3, is it possible that they can still successfully pupate?

I began fermentstion about 4-5 days ago and it smelled different at first but I checked on it today and now it smells earthy(not like sawdust). Is it ready? It’s a bit orange/golden in color, not the dark earthy brown. Is it ready? I fermented it a bit before and dried it after a while before...

I started up another batch and its been 2 days and the only difference is that it smells different...no extra heat, nothing. What went wrong? Should I restart the batch?

I made some fermented substrate a while ago and managed to rear some tityus and pelidnota on it. I still have the substrate but it’s all dried out now and I was wondering if it’s still ok to use? Should I try and re-ferment it? I plan on using it with lucanus elaphus

I know they need rotten hardwood leaves but all I have now are coco fiber, fermented sawdust, rotten hardwood, and beech leaves. Would I be able to sustain the larvae with this?

How do you care for them? I might be getting a bunch of larvae soon and I have a bucket full of rotten white rot hardwood, and a bin full of fermented hickory wood. I know the adults are predacious, but I've heard conflicting reports as to what to feed the larvae. Any and all help is welcome!

Preferably in groups or sexed pairs.
