Is my eastern Hercules beetle larva okay?

I've had an eastern Hercules beetle larva since roughly September when I found one while working on my insect collection for entomology and my professor said I could try raising it as a fun little project. I have no idea how old it is, its sex, etc. but I've housed it in one of those portable...

    Larva not particularly active?

I'm new to having beetles and my current larva is my first, so I probably worry about a lot of normal things. I have an eastern Hercules beetle larva I found while working on my insect collection for an entomology class. I'm not sure what larval stage it's in. But it has a good amount of soil...

    Eastern Hercules Beetle

I am currently raising what my entomology professor and I believe to be an eastern hercules beetle larva. I've been feeding it pieces of decaying wood I've pulled off of trees, which it has been eating. What will it eat as an adult?

    Sexing larvae

Sorry I originally posted this in the wrong section. This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to determine the sex of a larva or is it only really possible to tell after it has pupated? I'm specifically asking about a larva I so far believe to be Dynastes tityus. Thank you.

I exceeded maximum file size by adding more than 1 picture, so here's another. It was eating the leaf when I took this one.

    ID help- eastern Hercules beetle?

I'm sorry these aren't the best pictures and don't show the whole body, but they're the best I could get without handling the larva and I've heard the oils on my skin could damage it so I've not touched the larva at all if I can help it. I found this under a log while collecting insects for my...

    Hello from North Carolina

I'm a junior general bio major who's currently enrolled in entomology and has found myself with a beetle larva I found while working on my bug collection for entomology since my professor said it should be fairly easy and pretty fun to raise it and see what it ends up bring, so I was told this...
