    After removing the soil from a seven gallon potted Tibouchina I found 121 grubs, buy no idea what genus they are. Anybody familiar with this kind, or need to wait until it becomes an adult.

    Gonatista mantid question

    Found a female Gonatista grisea, and she laid a good looking ooth the next day. I believe she is generating a kind of odor, which has a strong herbal smell. Someone out there familiar with this particularity?

    Recycle waste

    I have a colony of Zophobas morio, and about each 8 Months I remove 1/3 of the excess of digested wood waste made by the larvae. Can this wonderful material be use to raise of breed other beetles? After sifting the powder-like waste and removing any live or dead Zophobas, I add sufficient water...

    Hardwood stump borer

    These borers emerged from a dead stump of Live Oak in Southern Florida. They look like some pics that Orin posted "Mallodon dasystomus" , but not sure if they are the same sp. Any information on how to breed them would be appreciated.
