Is there a way to tell if a stag larvae is elaphus or capreolus? thanks.

So, I haven't been on the forum in a while. Upsettingly, all 5 of my Megasoma Sleeperi died before pupation... I have no idea what i did wrong. If I try again, I’m definitely going to try and raise a more well-documented species, so; does anyone have stag or rhino beetles right now? 

If I buy from a foreign seller like Titan Monster Beetles, can I import a native species like D tityus without trouble?

My largest Megasoma Sleeperi larvae has recently emerged at the top of the substrate two times. I inspected his substrate and it is clogged with feces. Could I mix in some sort of soil to reduce the percentage of feces, or do I have to get new substrate?

My Sleeperi Larvae seems to have almost doubled in size. His head capsule is now about the same diameter as his body. It was originally around half the diameter of his body. Are these definitive signs of a molt? All my info seems to say it is.

Right now, Peter is listing Stag Beetke Larvae. The problem is, it might be Elaphus, but it might be Capreolus or Placidus. I would like to have a breeding pair if Elaphus. Is it worth the chance you might not get a breeding pair of Elaphus? Has anyone else bought one of these grab bags? Thanks.
