These guys are so animated, as tiger beetles usually are...all of mine are mating like crazy and do it with such a frenzy they end up on their backs. This goes on all day when the lights are on! What shameless little beasts!!!

Been finding quite a few of these guys and currently have 4. They are eating voraciously and now they are mating!

Had found and kept a random larva, and realized a few days later that it was pupating...really wish I had taken photos throughout the process... a few days ago I discovered a white beetle in the capsule! And here he is all growned up!

Did some hunting outside Highpoint and found some real cool stuff...IDs would help a bunch lol. This little fella was just chilling on a trail, is it a dungie? Some sort of fungus eater, maybe in the darkling family. Found 3 under loose bark, but only managed to get 2. They are very flat...
