Freebie stag beetle

I ordered a minor Japanese rhino beetle and it came with this guy too. I have a few guesses as who he can be but I'm unsure. If anyone can't tell and needs higher quality photos I will take them! I just didn't want to handle the poor guy after he went through shipping 

Hello, this is defenitely Cycclomatus sp. Unlike the more common C. metallifer, this one appears to have wider mandibles.

Yeah, that's a good conclusion. I was thinking about the possibility of it being a species of a smaller mandible stag, but It's most likely a minor with a beta mandible type.
